  The House of Refuge is a multi-treatment facility benefiting parolees and those discharged from incarceration. It sprouted in 2014 as an arm of the Outdoor Ministry – Prison Outreach of the Miracle Ministries International (MMI-Church), Tarlac City, Philippines.

Why should we help a discharged prisoner?

This question echoes a parable in the Bible: Why would a Samaritan help an injured man lying on the road? Thus, we help a discharged prisoner not because he is a criminal and has been a prisoner, but because he is a fellow human being that we servants of Christ cannot ignore. He needs our help.
